I'm Emily Harrison! I'm originally from Winchester, VA., and I'm currently a senior at Old Dominion University! I am pursuing a degree in strategic communications and minor in marketing and English with an emphasis in journalism. I'm graduating in May 2025. ​

As I've been on my journey at ODU, I've discovered I love learning about new trends in the media and finding ways to stand out in a highly digital market.  I enjoy being able to connect with others and consider myself to be incredibly sociable. I am all in when it comes to building lasting relationships with others and telling meaningful stories.

It took me a long time, and a lot of thought, to figure out exactly what I wanted to do with my life. I changed my major multiple times before realizing I love working as a team to meet goals. Post-grad I would love to apply for a master's program, or find a job that allows me to express my creativity preferably in PR, communications or marketing.

In whatever my future endeavors may be, I hope to feel successful. For me, this means finding a dynamic workplace that has a supportive culture, keeps me challenged and is filled with passionate individuals.
